Distribution is also carried out for Oxygraphics Ltd, notably of David Walker's Energy Plants and Man and his CD Like Clockwork (see www.oxygraphics.co.uk), for Librairie du Liban's remarkable list of Arabic dictionaries, tutorial books and monographs on Middle East history and culture, International Book Centre's own publications (www.ibcbooks.com) and Stipes Publishing's books (www.stipes.com).

This is a small, specialized, independent company and is therefore a hostage to the supermarket-style attitudes of the large bookselling chains. A limited selection of our books is stocked by more knowledgeable booksellers, but most prefer to special-order through the wholesalers Gardners of Eastbourne and Bertrams THE of Norwich. This includes Amazon whom we do not supply direct. Therefore, to speed up the fulfilment of orders, it is better to contact us by email or phone, and to give credit/debit card details verbally (it is not economic for us to operate a payment system through this website):

PPL also has a mail order and conference bookselling and promotion business - Landscape and Design Book Service - that focuses on applied ecology and nature conservation, landscape and garden design, working particularly closely with the Society of Garden Designers in the UK.

All books are discounted by at least ten to fifteen per cent, and there are often many far better offers. Though all relevant books in print can be supplied, a quarterly book selection is produced with a newsletter that highlights new publications and those you won't see in your average high-street bookshop
